The County of Venango is soliciting sealed bids to provide roof repair/replacement on several County-owned buildings.  Prospective bidders are welcome to bid on each building included in the plans, or on only certain buildings.  Bid forms, plans and a disk can be obtained at the office of the Chief Clerk, Courthouse  Annex, 1174 Elk Street, Franklin, PA,  16323, or by calling 814-432-9512 Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  There will be a $5.00 charge for the disk.  Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid packet. All bids shall be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier’s check, bank good faith check or other irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid total.  Bids must be received in the Chief Clerk’s Office, by 10:00 AM on May 5, 2017 after which bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Room 100 of the Courthouse Annex. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in bidding.
